FIRST AID EMERGENCY CENTER

Often we have to face huge unexpected problems which disorientate us. To resolve them immediately often requires a quick decision. For this reason the priests at the Oasis are always disposed to people on a 24 hrs basis, wheather it be personally or by phone or for any other type of spiritual or moral help.

Beyond the emblem of a family spirit, serenity and good humor that reign at the oasis, there lies a search to create within the people, bonds of real friendship. This helps so that people may confide themselves as most as possible to the priests so that in turn the priets may help them in a most effective way to help them resolve their problems, as well as to help them grow in their christian life. This type of personalized assistance is called spiritual direction .

At the origin of almost all types of moral or spiritual crisis there are many hard and crucial problems which need to be faced in a proper manner. If it is necessary, a recourse can also be taken to the voluntary people who are professionals and competent and who voluntarily collaborate with the priests in their respective field.

Once the moments of crisis have passed the difficult ones which required more meetings, the contacts then become less frequent and the person is then able to thrive once again with enthusiasm and courage to her family lives, at work and in society.

The Oasis is opened for everyone, of all social conditions: from the poor to the cultured, from the simple worker to the professional. From all ages and with the most varied charateristics: practicing catholic or not, atheists, students, engaged couples or married couples who are in crisis, even couples who are remarried. In brief anyone who, in front of problems, is in search of moral and/or spiritual help. There are also many active members of ecclesiastical groups and movements: after being helped in surpassing the difficult moments of their lives, they can once again recommit themselves with a new impulse in their ecclesiastical movement.

This original form of apostolate is a complement of parishes pastoral. It is developped through charity, which is opened for all and for the good of all. Compensation or offerings of any kind are never requested for the good that was done. These charitable works are uniquely sustained through the help of Divine Providence which is manifested through the people who, appreciating it, collaborate to its continuation.

This beautiful andcommitful name indicates that these modern Knights are distinguished by their nobility of: ideals sentiments behavior the bounty and generosity of heart besides their courage in love and defence for truth and good loyalty and pride, there is the greatest cause: Charity

This is their Knightly spirit and life style. In this way they can help anyone who adresses to them for any type of moral or spiritual help.

The priests of the Knights of Charity have been formed during many years in order to be able to exercise this type of apostolate. They are gifted with a strong balance and a profound knowledge of the human soul; they are all specialized in spiritual theology.

This unique work of theirs is a modern answer to the needs of todays society because of the evil that afflicts them. Their line of action is directly linked into a well balanced adaptation and modernisation of the Catholic Church.
